Research

CVET conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of cardiovascular engineering, biology, physiology, imaging, and clinical medicine.

Our work brings together engineers, scientists, and clinicians to understand, preserve, and restore cardiovascular resilience. Specifically, we develop engineering-based approaches to address major cardiovascular challenges through five integrated research pillars.

Across these research areas, CVET combines fundamental discovery with technology development and translational research to advance new strategies for diagnosis, intervention, tissue repair, and functional recovery. Our work spans both cardiac and vascular disease.
